Narrative

NMH - Dr. Ron Wynands, 28yrs, was killed instantly when his car & a panel van collided on Sackville & Grono Farms Rds, Wilberforce on 1st Jan. 1983, Windsor Police said. Dr Wynands was a resident doctor at Baulkham Hills Private Hospital. Police said he was returning to his Sackville home when the accident occurred at 10.55pm. The impact of the vehicles caused the driver of the panel van to be thrown from the van, a police spokesman said. The spokesman also said a passenger in the panel van was trapped in the vehicle, but police managed to release him. Dr Wynands is survived by his wife, Allison, who is Baulkham Hills Council Community Services Director, & an infant child Jessica, 11mths old.
