Thanks very much for the Cheque for Xmas, sorry I'm running so late with my Christmas letters.
Enclosed is the Birth Certificates fo Richard & Rebecca Blanton, also the updated Group Sheet for the Blanton family.

~ Also enclosed is the photocopies for the family on the 1891 Census. I asked 3 different librarians to photo copy (your not allowed to do it yourself) I even tried the CD Rom on the Computor but it
was all blurred, & the Micro-fiche wasn't much better, then when Joy Murrin came in at 6pm the next week, she thought she might have been able to do better, but it was just as faint. I've gone over it with a fine Artex pen, & I'll swear the Enumerator has put it down as Cassie, but when I went looking at the Marriage Records & Scottish Births its definitely CARRIE. Also Henry E. as a 3year old child was on the next page to the right not on the page below.
~ The next week I sp-ent an hour or two looking through Sr Catherine's marriages from 1908 to 1914, starting from Rebecca's in 1908 and found Carrie in Fulham in 1910 and Maud in Fulham in 1911 and a Henry E. in Remford on the 4th Qtr 1911. As there are so few Blanton's, none in 1912 and 1913 and then 4 in 1914! I guess he must be the last child. Couldn't find Richard, Dora or Annie, guess I'll have to go back to 1905? or after 1914.
~ After I gave up marriages in 1914 I spent a little time looking to see if 'Harry' belonged to us, see if I could find a death for him around 1882 and 1883 but couldn't, so gave up so went looking for Henry Blanton's birth. Started with the four quarters of 1848 and 1st and 2nd Qtrs of 1849, so went back to 1847 and found him in 3rd Qtr 1847 Wolverhampton. Then Henry and Rebecca Shaw's marriage which turned out to be 1st Qtr of 1876 Wolverhampton 66 706.
~ Then I went looking for Carrie's birth in Glasgow, but Scottish birth records are different to the English, they have just photocopied the books (written in handwriting) and I couldn't find where they gave you the quarters in the year. It seemed as if the whole of 1883 was all listed alphabetical and I couldn't read the page numbers; it was obliterated in the binding in the book, it looked like page 204, but I'm not sure. Blanton (the 2nd last child) from Joy Murrin.
Mar 2003 - applied for a birth Transcription for Carrie Blanton born 14 Feb 1882 at 29 Doncaster St,
Glasgow from Joy Murrin, it also states her parents marriage was on 19 Feb 1876 at Wolverhampton.
July 2003 - applied for Birth Cert. of Henry Edward Blanton - born 5/9/1847 father Thomas mother Mary Huxley.
