Narrative

Eva was born with hip displacia, Amy & Eva came to Australia on the Commonwealth on 25 June, 1912. They were kept back because the Immigration officials said Eva had ring worms & they would be catchy. Jenny Taylor has sent us a photo of the family outside the house in Lidcombe, we wondered why the family look as if they are all dressed up as if to go to a wedding??
Amy died at home - 50 Cumberland Rd, Auburn NSW Aust. aged 76 years.
