Narrative
Lily Menzies was Don Bradmans sister-in-law. My brother Bruce can remember Dad taking him to a Cricket Match & afterwards meeting "The Don".
Uncle Frank & Aunty Lily Underwood lived in Strathfield for a while when they were first married. I have a Photo taken outside Strathfield Homebush Congregational Church where Janice, my sister Margaret & myself went to Sunday School together. I have done some of the Menzies Family History.
SMH - UNDERWOOD - Lily Agnes (nee Menzies) 4.7.1912 - 12.9.2005. Beloved wife of Frank (dec), daughter of James & Lily Menzies (both dec), loving sister of Roy, Jessie, Jack & Hilda (all dec) & Jean. Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Jan & Ray, Alan (dec), Ross & Marcia. Loved Granny of Mark & Tracey, Robert & Edith, Emma, Andrew & Elizabeth, Ross & Sue, David & Bethwyn, Ann & Lewis, Brooke, Alyssa & Chris, Kathryn, Amanda, & Geoffrey. Fond Granny of Matthew, Ben, Fin, Matthew, Molly, Sarah & Spencer. Sadly missed by all.
FUNERAL - Relatives & Friends of LILY UNDERWOOD are invited to attend her funeral service to be held at St Albans Church of England, Tryon Rd, Lindfield, commencing 1.30 pm, Friday followed by a private cremation at Northern Suburbs Crematorium.
