Nance's father was the 1st Mayor of Sydney, they lived in Macquarie Fields House. There is a Hitching Post outside Sydney Town Hall Square to commemorate him. Hoskings Place is named after him.

FUNERAL - The rels & friends of the late ANNIE ELIZABETH BONGERS of Terrey Hills, are invited to attend her funeral service, to be held in the East Chapel of Northers Suburbs Crematorium today Thursday at 1.40pm.
