James McIntyre was a Miner, born abt 1836 in Edinburgh. ??
He arrived in Aust. on 10 Oct 1856 on the "Vocalist", a free settler, 20yrs old, he went straight
to the Gold Fields. He married Mary Anne Thompson on 13 May 1862 at the Independant Church at Burrangong. James said his religion was Church of Scotland.
