WW1 Nominal Roll - #3404 - Driver - enlisted 26/7/1915, RTA 22/8/1919.
SMH - Francis Roy - 29 June, 1980, at hospital, Nowra, late of 33 Basinview Parade, Basinview (1st A.I.F., 2nd Battalion), beloved husband of Ann & dearly loved father of Enid (Mrs.Cambour), Lois (Mrs. Newman) & loved grandfather of Robyn & Robert, Dianne, Peter (dec) & Michael. Aged 86yrs.
ROSS - The rels & friends of the family of the late FRANCIS ROY ROSS, of Basinview, are invited to his funeral, in the Chapel of Wollongong Crematorium, to-morrow Tuesday, service at 12.45pm.
Abby said he was a Publisher. Abby has given me a copy of a Photo of four boys, in Army uniform, taken in July 1916, but according to my records, Frank was the only brother that was in the 1st W.W.
