Elizabeth's father John Merills was a Freeholder at Barrow near Bury St. Edmonds. Richard Merrills, her brother was a freeholder at Polstead.
There is no Birth date on my Tree for Elizabeth, her Baptism date & death date doesn't add up to 38 years??? I think she should have been born about 1726.?

Bury St.Edmunds is a long way north on the A134 highway, from Colchester, thru Nayland about 20klms to Sudbury, then another 20klms to Bury. Barrow is a small town to the west of Bury St Edmonds.
