21/7/1999 - Found Michaels death in the Probate Files.
Died:- 18 Jul 1884 age 82yrs-- Parents - John & Ann Connor, # 5858 ????
Haven't been able to find where he is buried yet.

MARRIED:- Juliana Quilligan - Convict.

Ship:- "Kains" arrived 1831 - no read or write.
Religion:- Roman Catholic - from Limerick
Crime:- Stealing Money - Middlesex Gaol Delivery 29th Oct 1829.
Sentence:- Seven years. no former convictions.
Height:- 4ft 9ins - Brown hair - Ruddy & Freckled.
Indent:- No.52, age 20years.
Married 24 Oct 1837 to Michael Connor (1) see above.
Died in 1870 (59yrs old) fathers name Patrick, no mother mentioned # 2250.
Haven't looked in S.M.H. yet.

Daughter - Mary Connor - can't find any birth recorded.
there is a death recorded - V1839 267 132,
but they haven't got the records at Mortdale,
I will have to pay Joy Murrin for them, or
see if they have them at SAGS. when I have time!

Son - Michael Connor (2) Born 1840. Found the Church Records for
St Marys Catholic Church under St James Parish,
County of Cumberland! in the second bottom drawer
under Church Records - Pre 1856. Photocopied Baptism.

Son - John Connor - Born 1841. Church Records V 1841 1880 133
not at Mortdale. Can't sort out his death either,
there are too many John Connors!

Daughter - Julia Ann - Born 1843.Church Records V1843 374 134
not at Mortdale. She married William Joseph Coull
in 1865 in Sydney # 444. The only death I can find
for Julia Coull is in 1918 at Stockton, Newcastle
# 10612, parents Unknown? I can't find her on
Probate Records, so she couldn't have anything to
leave. I think she had four children all in
Paddington, Sydney. but where are they?

Son - William - Born 1845. I Photocopied His Baptism at
Mortdale. I found his Death in 1926 at the age
of 81yrs, but there are too many William Connors
to work out who he married.

Bidelia & James were easy to find, I Photocopied both their
Baptisms in the Pre 1856 Church Records at Mortdale.
Each photocopy costs 50cents at Mortdale.
Bidelia married James Hardie Douglas in 1869 in Sydney
They had children. She died in 1890 at Newtown.
I think James died in 1882 age 30yrs, but I can't
work out if he got married?
