----SUDDEN DEATH AT NORTH SHORE----
Mr.W.T.Pinhey, J.P. held a magisterial inquiry yesterday afternoon, touching on the death of a man named Michael Connor, aged 50 years, residing at Blue's Point Road, St. Leonards, who died very suddenly at his residence on the previous night.
Evidence showed that he had been unwell for some days, but was not seriously affected, and on the morning of his death had been out fishing. On Tuesday evening he was in company with a man named Frederick Layton, and had a glass of rum at the Fig Tree Inn. He then went outside, and being suddenly taken ill became speechless, and was conveyed to his home. Dr. Rorke was sent for, but the patient died four minutes after his arrival. The doctor testified that a post-mortem examination showed death to have been due to natural causes, and a finding was entered accordingly.
