Narrative
Daniel was baptised in the new church of "Holy Innocents Anglican Church" in Rossmore. The people of the area had been worshipping in a log building, an old schoolhouse built by the Camden Church Society, as early as 1836. Bishop Broughton mentioned the church at Cabramatta, saying that 200 Pounds had been subscribed or promised towards the cost of the building. The Foundation Stone was layed on 28th December (Holy Innocents Day), 1848 & the Church was consecrated in 1850, being complete & free from debt. There were only four baptism's in 1854 & Daniel was one of them. The Minister was the Rev. George Vidal from St. Mary the Virgin Church at Denham Court.
