13/9/1994 - I applied for Albert & Bertha's marriage certificate from England.
I found this Baptism at St. Thomas' Nth Sydney at S.A.G's, I don't know whether it's the right one!! Auntie Eva said she then went to live with Reg & Eva Calma who lived in Auburn.
Auntie Eve thinks her married name is Ruth Quirk.
15/5/03 - Looked for a marriage for Ruth Bongers on B.D.& M's but Qld only go up to 1939, & N.S.W. go up to 1945, with no luck.
5/5/2008 - Susan found a site on the Internet for cemeteries in Brisbane. Bertha was buried on 18/7/1922 in the Toowong Cemetery, Cnr Frederick St., & Mt. Coot-tha Rd., Toowong, Portion 20, Section 48, Grave #15.
