They had an adopted daughter, Ruth born about 1921, they lived in Concord near Leslie & Molly Bongers, our Ruth said she was a couple of yrs older than her! They left in the late 1920's to go to Queensland. I don't know when Bertha died or when he married Annie McKendrick, but I asked Janet Reeks to see if she could find Albert & Bertha's death dates but all she could find was Annie McKendrick (Bongers) death, on 16/7/1968 age 74 yrs.
Oct 1991 - Wrote to a Mrs.Alison Rogers who lived at Bargara Qld, asking if she could find Alberts death. She was able to give me a lot of other deaths in the family, but not Albert's.
21/11/02 looked at Qld BD&M's again. Found a Death for Bertha Bongers on 17/7/1922, and her parents were Stephen Rogers & Alice Baker. Albert Frazer Bongers re-married 9mths later to Rose Mary Martin on 21/4/1923, in Qland. I don't know when he married Annie McKendrick!
15/5/2003 Found Rose Mary Bongers' death on 11/8/1946 #B008139, but couldn't find a birth in Qld, also can't find a first marriage for Annie McKendrick. Marriages only go to 1939 in Qld.
