I was told that Aunty Mary Brooks & Aunty Anne Butler lived together at McMahon's Point.
SMH - BROOKES - 13 July, 1940 - at a private hospital, Neutral Bay, MARY ELIZABETH, dearly loved sister of Mrs.H.E.Notting, Mrs.G.Corbett, & Mrs.C.Butler, in her 93rd year. Privately cremated 14July.1940. Maybe her ashes were scattered on husbands grave.
