Address:- 8 Julliette Avenue, Punchbowl.
During late 1980's early 1990's I spoke to Aunty Alice quite a couple of times about the family history, she seemed a lonely lady. I also went over to Rookwood Cemetry & photoed her parents grave for her, it is red marble & in very good condition, just behind the Anglican Chapel. She also told me her husbands ashes were scattered at St Barnabas Church Punchbowl where she could go & visit him there. The family were worried about her being on her own & moved her up to Norah Head Nursing Home where she died.
Wednesday 1st Oct.2003, John & Margaret Brookfield went to Aunty Alice's funeral service at Mackay Family Crematorium, Pacific Highway, Palmdale, then afterwards to their home & met all of Elva Blairs family. Aunty Ellen Geach was also there.
October 2003, John received a letter from Elva thanking them for going to the Funeral.
