Irene was the daughter of Rev. Joseph Shearman, past Rector of St. Lukes, from 1895 to 1910.
Irene used to raise funds in the district, & was instrimental in buying the first Ambulance for Liverpool.

In her 81st Year. At rest.
FUNERAL - ASHCROFT - The funeral of the late Mrs. IRENE STUART ASHCROFT of 45 Bathurst St, Liverpool, will leave St. Luke's Church of England, Liverpool, This day Thursday, after a service at 2.30pm, for the Church of England Cemetery, Liverpool.
