Edward took over the Ashcroft Abatoirs from his father Leslie, who took over from his father Edward James Ashcroft. He went to Hursstone Agricultural High School & enlisted in 1943 with the RAAF as a lietenant in the 21 Squadron. He & Sylvia had no children.
SMH - ASHCROFT- EDWARD JAMES (Mac) - Born 1913 Liverpool. Passed away June 2000, at James Milson Nursing Home, Nth Sydney. Beloved husband of Sylvia, loved uncle of his nieces & nephews.
