Narrative

Peter Procter has given me a copy of Caroline Gray's Baptism - she was Christened at St. John's CofE Parramatta on 24/10/1858 by Rev. Robert L. King. The Cert Number is 1994 #284 Vol150 ??
Caroline's Death Cert. says she died at Croydon Park, but her usual address was with her son Reg Gazzard, at 38 Woodside Ave, Strathfield. In 1939/40 I lived in The Boulevard, Strathfield & I walked along Woodside Ave to go to Burwood Public School.
SMH - GAZZARD - couldn't find a Death Notice in SMH.
FUNERAL - GAZZARD - A Service for the late Mrs.CAROLINE ADELINE LOUISA GAZZARD, of 38 Woodside Avenue, Strathfield, will be held this day Thursday (12/6/1952) 11am, Rookwood Crem.
References - school report, Parramatta Public School 1869, also undated clipping "Gazzards & Newlings" Cumberland Argus 24/9/1938, "Octogenarian & her Old Clock" Peter said she was known as "Little Granny Gazzard".
