26/2/1976 Received from BD&M's a "No Result of Search" I hereby certify that etc...no trace can be found of the registration (from 1843 to 1865), of the Marriage of Frederick Pascoe to Maria Sim or Sims .....Signed..... J.B.Holliday, Registrar.
21/4/1982 Received Marriage Cert. dated 7th Nov.1873 of Frederick Sim Pascoe & Ellen Mary Cook at St Mary's CofE Balmain. Frederick said he was 22yrs old & born in Parramatta ???
12/11/1984 Attended Uniting Church Archives in the city, with the help of Mrs Lillian Wells I was able to look at the Baptisms by the Rev. Stephen Rabone of the Wesleyan Circuit of the Hunter River Parish in the County of Northumberland from July 1850 to Aug 1851. It showed Frederick, son of Maria Sims,(no Father mentioned) born at West Maitland on 4th May & Baptised on 27 July 1851. Other records show there was a marriage of Henry Sims to Maria Lloyd in 1847 Entry 503, Vol32. .Baptisms show - James born 23/5/1848, William born 22/11/1849, Frederick b 4/5/51, & George born 20/3/1852.
July 1986- Rang all the Pascoe children for their details. I don't think I ever gave them a copy of the Family Tree !!
Oct 1988 - Rang Ray Goddard to invite him to Aunty Hilda's 90th Birthday Party. He gave me a copy of his copy of Frederick Pascoe & Ellen Cooks marriage certificate he had applied for in 1974. He gave me all the Goddard family history. He also lent me his copy of the Cook Family Tree, which I copied & returned to him, & lots & lots of Photoes.
SMH - Frederick PASCOE - 10 March, 1921, in his 65th year, loved husband of Ellen Pascoe, of Chelmsford Ave, Botney.
SMH - Friends of the late Mr Frederick Sim Pascoe, formally of Woollahra, will leave his late residence 12 Roberts Rd, Randwick, this day Wednesday, at 3.30pm for Waverley Cemetery.
SMH - The Friends of Mr & Mrs W.H.Grist, Mr & Mrs S.G.Goddard, Mr & Mrs C.H.O'Connor, Mr & Mrs R.L.Pascoe, Mr & Mrs E.O.Golby, Mrs Ruby Lewis, & Mr & Mrs A.E.Underwood are kindly invited to attend the Funeral of their beloved Father, to leave 12 Roberts Ave, Randwick this day for Waverley Cemetery. Frederick is buried in the same Grave as his daughter & son-in-law, Ruby & Leonard Lewis.
