Ken Shorts Family TREE says - Robert Keningale Cook was a Clergyman, was a Canon attached to the Cathedral at Colchester. He became Rector of Smallbridge in the Diocese of Manchester. Robert Cook was instrumental in founding the Church of St. James the Apostle in nearby Wardle. His wife Ellen was a native of Rochdale in Lancashire. He had two daughters ??? My Tree has 6 children !!.
2005 - Shirley Wharton says - 1881 CENSUS shows Robert age 68yrs born Great Wenham, Ellen Cook wife, 67yrs, born Rochdale, & 2 daughters living with them - Louisa Sarah 30yrs old & Agnes Ellen Cook both born Rochdale, Lanc. also Margaret Hannah Cook 58yrs old born in Canada ?? (daughter of Benjamin Cook) ?? They lived in Old Smallbridge Church Rectory, Wuerdle & Wardle, Lancaster.

10/3/2005 - Received copy of Mary Marven Cook's Will, naming Robert Keningale Cook as one of the Executors of his mothers will. The other Executor was George Keningale Cook?? - who was he?? Maybe Edwards son.!!
