The Family Tree says Thomas arrived in Aust in 1839, but we can't find any evidence.
2004 - Notice Albert & George died 3 days apart, on the 8th & 11th Dec 1872 & Frederick was born on 6th Dec 1872, & her husband died on 26 May 1876, their mother Rosa must have been devistated!!
MARRIAGE Cert.- 11 Feb 1852 of Thomas Cook of George St. Sydney & Rosa McFedden of Redfern St, Redfern, at the Redfern Congregational Church by Rev. Joseph Beazley of Pitt St. Redfern, minister of Congregational Church. The Marriage was witnessed by James McFedden of Redfern St.
Redfern & George Watson of Sussex St. Sydney - brother & brother-in-law.

Thomas Cook was only 61yrs old when he died. I have seen his grave at Rookwood, there is no headstone. I wonder how much one would cost ???? I should have inquired 20years ago when I found the grave.
SMH - Awfully Sudden Death - It was reported yesterday morning at the Darlinghurst Police Station that a man named Thomas Cook had been found dead in bed. On Thursday night, it appears, the deceased retired to bed with his wife about 11pm, when he was in good health. About 2am next morning she awoke up & found him dead. Dr. Mackellar was sent for, and he gave it as his opinion that death had resulted from decease of the heart. The deceased was a commission agent, residing at Christiana Terrace, Fitzror St. Surrey Hills, & was 61yrs old. An inquest was held at 11am to-day.

FUNERAL - The Friends of the late THOMAS COOK, Broker, are invited to attend his Funeral, This Saturday afternoon 27 May, 1876, to move from his late residence, Christiana Terrace, Fitzroy St, near Crown St, Surry Hills, at half-past 2 o'clock, for the Necropolis, Rookwood.
