Narrative
I only met Uncle Arthur once, when Aunty Pearl was in Belmont Hostital. I've walked around the waters edge at Lake Macquarie many times, but was too young to ever knock on his door. The house always looked empty anyway, they lived in Newcastle. The family didn't seem to like Ailsa. I thought I was told one of his daughters lived in Perth & after Ailsa died he went over to Perth for a while. 4/6/1902 - I asked Joy Murrin for a Marriage Transcription for Arthur's marriage to Dorothy Stevenson
The Consent of the Father had to be obtained because Dorothy was only 20yrs old. I have a Photo of their Wedding to. I also have a copy of Aunty Pearls' wedding photo, I think Dorothy was a bridesmaid. Uncle Arthur was not interested in family history at all !!
