Elsie Ashcroft married Fred Kidd, Grandson of the Hon. John Kidd of "Blair Athol", Campbelltown, who was the local Member of State Parliament. Mr Fred Kidd died suddenly while on a visit to Scotland.
Mrs Kidd married Clifford Leake a member of the 1st A.I.F. after the 1st World War. Mr. Leake was an Architect, who built "Maryvale" on the western side of Liverpool, where they lived for several years. It is from this home & property that the suburb of Maryvale was named. The house is still there.?? A son of her second marriage was Pilot Officer Leake, R.A.A.F. lost his life on a mission over Europe in the 2nd World War. Mrs. Leake must have lived with her daughter Jean Railton at Willoughby, when she died at St. Vincents Hoispital.
