Narrative
Hilda Grist was born at 76 Queen St, Woollahra, Sydney. I went to check it out in the 1980's when I started family history, it was a row of terrace houses, I think the Grists, Golbys & O'Connor families lived next to each other, unfortunately I didn't take a camera with me.
Aunty Hilda lived at 10 Howard St, Strathfield, she died in Concord Hospital. I used to visit her often, she was very interested in the family history. She gave me a couple of Photoes. Unfortunatly she burned the rest!!!
SMH - SMALL - Hilda Olive - 7 February, 1989, at hospital, of Strathfield, formaly of Rockdale, dearly loved wife of Bill, loved mother of Raymond (dec) & Wilma, loved mother-in-law of Alwyn & fond grandmother of Robert & Edward. Forever with the Lord.
FUNEERAL - SMALL - The rels & friends of Mrs. Hilda Olive SMALL are kindly invited to attend her funeral, to leave the Church of Christ Church, Clarence St, Burwood, tomorrow, after a service at 2.15pm, for Rookwood Independent Cemetery, I went to Aunty Hilda's funeral.
